That's my take too. Torture has been a POLICY of this administration, at Abu Gahrib, and everywhere. The Supreme Court has ruled it illegal, and now the Bushies are frantic. I also think Karl Rove realizes that it keeps Iraq OFF the front page. Many Americans will succumb to the extreme fear mongering Bush is currently engaged in, to our discredit. Watching Bush on TV - how did we end up with this low, loathsome creature as our President? We've got some BIG problems with our system..
