So you are estimating 2007 earnings of around $1.70? If everything else is roughly flat that would imply a drop of around $0.70 over 2006 predicted earnings assuming no generic this year.
I haven't looked at the company much at all, but that seems on the light side. Their margins on XL are likely somewhat better than on anything else just because the revenue is so high.

(But this is all back-of-the-envelope - as I said I haven't really looked at them at all.)

If you are correct in your analysis, perhaps the best time to buy will be on the launch of the generic which seems pretty unstoppable to me at this point.
