That's BS. Most Americans are negative on the Bush economy.
Especially in the heartland where former GOP states like Ohio Kentucky and Indiana are turning against him. DEmocrats score 20% better than the GOP on the economy.

As for the gas prices, Bushies are obviously lowering them for the election but will jack them right back up afterward. Energy prices have been manipulated, mostly upward, ever since the day after Bush-CHeney were first nominated.

As we heard from Bob Woodward, Prince Bandar offered in 2004 to lower oil prices for Bush if he wanted them lowered before the election. This proves they do it whenever they want to.
