Some people call it "fear-mongering" HH.. They refuse to see the correlation betweeen how the Nazis managed to exploit a disaffected and humiliated German population to instill the glorious vision of restoring the "German Reich" into their minds. And who were the Nazis in 1922? Just a small group of disaffected soldiers and thugs with a conspiratorial theory as to how Germany had been humiliated in WWI. Yet, 11 years later, they were in charge of Germany, and 10 years after that, they world was at war, resulting in the needless deasths of millions of people. Islamo-Fascism is a threat that cannot be ignored. And just because there are two primary flavors of it (Sunni/Salafist and Shi'a) vying for dominance over the other, we should not believe that they won't combine forces when required to fight "outsiders" trying to intervene against their fanatical agendas and impart an alternative solution to totalitarianism (secular, religious, or Monarchical). There are dramatic demographic shifts taking place in the Mid-East, and some 50% of the population in that region is under the age of 20 to 21 years of age. That places tremendous economic and social stress on the existing corrupt regimes to provide them jobs (that are "worthy" of them). And these young men provide a ready reserve of impressionable recruits for Jihad when they become disillusioned with the corruption they see around them, yet lacking the means to change it. They certainly don't have the ability to throw them out of office and elect someone else. People like Churchill studied Hitler and his Nazis.. And he attempted to warn the world about the dark clouds forming over Europe as a result. But few listened until they no longer had a choice but to face reality. 9/11 should have been a wake up call that it was time to quit ignoring the Middle East and leaving to be exploited by dictators and corrupt tribal chiefs who have declared themselves to be kings.
