>>Unfortunately, the 2-finger tap is not available when running windows via bootcamp. The new Bootcamp provides for a work-around where one can initiate a right-click by holding the right apple-command button at the same time as clicking the trackpad button, and it's certainly better than nothing, which is what Bootcamp 1.0 had. Adequate in a pinch, but for people interested in using their macs in windows, I always suggest an external mouse.<<

Boot Camp is still in beta. It may well support the two finger right-click when it ships with Leopard.

Meanwhile, I just tried using the technique in Windows XP under Parallels, and it does work.

So iMacs and Mac Pros both ship with multibutton mice out of the box (even though the Mighty Mouse still *looks* like a one button mouse) and the MacBook and MacBook Pro both support using two fingers on the track pad to do a right-click.

I don't see a lack of support for multibutton mouse functionality here.
