"but I'm getting pretty tired of all the stupid demonstrations against the West over pure nonsense."

I can live with the demonstrations. It opens dialogue and we all get to know and understand each other better in the process. It's those pesky bomb threats I can live with out.

And if there were someway to defuse the violence in the ME, that would be great. We just need to hang in there and do all that we can through the media, diplomatically, and as needed with military and economic power, while the melting pot of peop's get used to each other.

When I was young, I was a Bee Keeper for a while. One technique for combining hives is to put the bees from separate hives into one box with a wire mesh separating them. After a few days they get used to each other's noise and when you take the mesh out, they become one hive. No guarantee that would always work with peop's, but I've seen something like it among men. When I started working at a new mining operation, all the locals were intimidated by the rough guys showing up for work from out of town. There was a lot of tough talk for the first couple of months but eventually everybody became buddies. Seen that other places too.
