The big and I do mean BIG problem with fuel cells is efficiency. The best ones under high power demands like a car are only about 50 to 60% efficient. A lot of folks don't understand the problems with them. At very low power demands the efficiency goes up but when you look at the numbers your still better off with batteries. Their efficiency is around 90%.
