I have my family and others in the "reality based community". But all in all, it does get lonly at tiems-lol. I do not know how to deny what one sees? I keep my converstaions at the poker table and most other places to sports, fishing and hunting-lol I always felt following the truth, as best I can figure it out, takes precedent over all other things. As Plato said: "the unexamined life is not worth living". But even Einstein capitulated in the end and embraced his jewish culture to some extent out of loneliness. Maybe if Einstein had had the 60's existential revolution to relate to he would have not had too??
