Something Wonderful is about to happen...Dell sees it and so do a lot of others. Wallstreet is way behind the power curve on this...whatever "something" is!!!

Hang on to Your Hat!!!

Kindest Regards,

"Even more baffling is that Dell just doesn't wait for the "Con"holio ramp rather than spend tons on verifying AMD product."

Before Intel has a decent ramp, Bulldozer will be here. Dell's core is the commercial market, so...

Jim, I thought Wall Street looked ahead.

Sure you did, Jim. Sure you did.

Wall Street looks ahead all right, but only in terms of what it thinks will happen. Dell no longer sees any advantage in staying Intel-only. Conroe is indeed the superior product, but now the market now thinks AMD will respond with something equivalent or better before they go back into the red.

Meanwhile, both Otellini and Ruiz are thinking several moves ahead in this game of chess. You and the other AMD fans are looking at the here and now, but personally I still think this is Intel's game to lose unless that stupid anti-trust lawsuit goes in AMD's favor.
