Perhaps they were trying to mask the first explosion with impact of the planes. They had their timing on that one off by a little bit. 12 seconds is pretty close though. The only people who would have noticed the difference would have been the folks in the basement. You don't want all the charges going off in too close of a time frame, as it points the finger squarely at controlled demolition.

First, huge charges were set off in the basement to cut out a big chunk of the central core just prior to the visible collapse. That would have caused the buildings to collapse from the bottom, not the point of impact. not spending enough energy to figure out how those airplanes could, in fact , cause everything that happened. This statement was exactly right! You do not gain an understanding of what might have happened by just repeating what someone else has claimed. If you want to have an opinion on the subject that is actually your own you must actually connect the dots yourself, not just take a pre-drawn conclusion. TP
