Tom

I don't know and don't think so.

What I think (and its in a mess of news articles)
I posted on Mish's board .....

Is that China's CB is selling dollars right now in
the face of this dollar strength ....

and which - is the exact opposite of what one of them
said today in a news article ....

I was wondering how they were gonna do it - and
(guessing) there doing it right in front of me ....

What are they buying - primarily Korean currency.

So when is gold going up - TRINKET demand aside ...

Lets say the Fed anin't gonna raise on the 20th
sounds good - but MORE sick news from the housing
market may send long rates even lower and (dumb ass
2 cents) hurt gold ...

there is a common theme in some of these articles
esp. the one posted by onepath ....

once these nations figure out NOT to hold foreign
reserves - in english - don't buy US Debt but
plow the money back into your own economies ...

the we go suckin wind for someone to buy our debt,
folks get scared of the dollar, in truth there ain't
any currency worth being =to a new standard ....

and gold becomes the only thing to *trust*

I hope you are sorry you asked <g>

And I really hope I'm full of **it
and gold goes to the moon tomorrow.

regards,
John

dumb question time .....

marcos was writing about sgm.v
(I own some)

and now thinking about buying more

Can companies mining gold in USA make money?
i.e. do environmental / wage costs / etc.
make them so high cost that it is prohibative ..

now for all I know there is a BIG MINING COMP.
INC. that's been mining in USA forever - but
I just don't know any companies mining in USA.

No elaborate answer needed and if you gotta do
work to answer - then just ignore this question.

regards,
John
