Who still needs to take the bigger risks in order to move forward?

today there are amd co-processors on fpgas which either plug into second socket of dual motherboards or htx expansion cards. there will be certainly gpu (you're asking why amd bought ati) and physics co-processors. intel is talking about implementing csi & imc in 2008 just to catch-up with where amd is today. when will xilinx & altera have csi transceivers on their fpgas ?

i hope that answers your question.
