No, really, as far as science can determine facts, the time taken for the buildings to collapse can ONLY mean they were destroyed by demolition charges set to go off according to a preset schedule. You could question the time calibration, like was it really 30 seconds not approximately 9 seconds for the building to collapse. Perhaps some other quantity could be questioned, though I can't think of any. That way you could then suggest it was the plane crashes that collapsed the buildings. I doubt the Twin towers would have collapsed any faster if Scotty suddenly transported the steel core support systems to the starship enterprise in their entirety. (The transporter room would have to shrink them quite a bit to fit of course.).
