The truce relies on the tribal parties to control the area. That might possibly be poor hope but if nothing is done than Pakistan has the right to ignore the truce if its conditions aren't met. Now they might just go ahead and stick by the truce anyway. In that case there would be a confirmed problem. Now all we have are uncertainties.

What would you do about Pakistan if you where president?
