Neither of these statements are true. Many Muslims do both just like we do, however for the very religous who dont

1. At most gatherings they dance - In Saudi it is usually men with men and woman with woman because the sexes are segregated at the gatherings.

2. Even the religous sing but usually their version of praise and worship songs.
