<They are calling collateral damage war crimes.>

No, they are saying that it is bogus to call the murder of Lebanese civilians collateral damage. Like so many people in the world, I was deeply saddened by what appeared to be willful acts of murder against Lebanese civilians and I was stunned at the deliberate cold blooded murder of unarmed UN observers in broad daylight and despite repeated attempts by the UN to communicate with Israel -- it was nothing short of an execution. It is impossible to believe that this murder was not undertaken without a direct order from senior military leaders and most likely from the prime minister himself. Yet you have the nerve to waive off these killings as if there was some firm ground for you to stand on.

It will take more than empty phrases like "collateral damage" to restore any faith in Israel's capacity for basic humanity. As far as I and most of the rest of the world are concerned, Israel can either face up to these terrible acts with a serious inquiry, or face global condemnation.
