Richard Clarke blasted that ABC show as "phony". I think he's the ultimate expert on the subject. Clake was the one Clinton put in charge with monitoring and stopping Al Qaida. He did a fine job. But when Bush came into power he closed down Clarke's operation. Why? He did not replace that all-important counter-terror group. WHy? It was clear Bush was either AWOL on terror or actively trying to protect Saudi nationals inside the US. Or both. And on 8-6 when Bush was warning about an imminent attack, he did absolutely nothing. None of his people did.

Was that in the movie? Nope. And that was the most crucial event of the whole pre 9-11 period. One phonecall to the FAA and Bush could have stopped 9-11, but he didn't even think about it.

Why can't Clinton simply admit, for the greater good of the USA, that he was asleep at the switch(polite term)while bin Ladin & his fellow barbarians were plotting 9/11?
