The Frech also stated their troops in Lebanon would not disarm Hezbollah...

I think the Israelis should give the UN troops 72 hours notice that the offensive will resume and then finish the job....

With China and Russia opposed (two other veto-bearing Security Council members)... there was little prospect of sanctions in the short-term anyway.
