This low-power prospect (and think also media centers, where small and quiet is a big plus if the horsepower is still there) is largely why I still maintain my pair trade of long AMD and short INTC. But I have cut back my INTC short some, so I'm now somewhat net long the pair.

Ever since I saw that low-power section in the roadmaps I've felt that this will be the low-hanging fruit for AMD and the most serious potential challenge to Intel. The ATI merger adds to this conviction of mine.
