You know I was joking. A perfect example is Germany. Mish or I can go on vacation to Munich with our US Dollars in this 'deflationary' world. I think we'd be shocked as to how little it actually buys these days. This even in a period of economic weakness and overbuilt commercial RE in that country.. I recently read the average Chinese homeowner is now leveraged 125% LTV on their home. Is this true? Far reaching ramifications on many fronts if it is.
