In my opinion your view is a classic "defend Israel no matter what they do" position. I think that we, as the Americans who provide Israel with the means to kill Lebanese civilians, should be in a position to hold Israel to the standard of respecting basic human rights, and to launch inquiries and investigations where there is ample reason to believe that a crime has been committed with our assistance. I do not believe most Americans in the "center" believe that Israel should be given blanket immunity no matter what they do with our money and with our support.
