tyke - Amaranth was leveraged 5:1 on their natgas trades, from what I understand (short near-term futures, long long-term futures). Dylan Ratigan was talking about this on BubbleVision this morning. He noted how in many cases when these funds blow up, the trade that takes them down ends up working out, but only after the fund is in a smoldering ruin. Oh well.
