Iraq is an unethical war. Like its evil twin Vietnam it was started by a Texas president who fabricated threats and lied to the nation about why we "had to fight". We didn't have to do anything of the sort. In fact both wars were huge costly mistakes that made us less strong, safe and secure and gave us terrible reputations. Interestingly, both lying Texas presidents, and Nixon who kept the war going for 3-4 years longer than he should have, were all tied to Halliburton/Brown + Root, the biggest profiteer of wars.

It may be that both horrific wars were fought for profit. Certainly they were fought on false pretenses.

AS recognizes that we never should have been in Nam...and then wants people to defend their deferments...duh...AS flip flops as often as John Kerry.
