"If you lived under Islamic law, you'd see for yourself whether it's 'just different.'" But I don't. If I chose to live in such a country, or if I were raised there, I'd either pay the taxes, convert, or leave. "You think I'm wrong. I think you're lazy." Yep, I think you're incensed over something that isn't that big a deal. I know you think I'm lazy, and on this particular subject you may have a point. I only invest time and effort into things that seem important to me. Feel free to work yourself into a froth over it, then you'll have real energy to wring your hands and bemoan the situation. That won't change anything, though. But if it makes you feel like you're helping humanity, go for it!
