I think you're right. It ain't over till it's over and the golden rule applies. If gold rises its because it serves the US program and the US allows it to rise. Betting against that jeopardizes ones wellbeing. By illustration, the US economy has been on a roll for several years despite the several years of threatened impending US dollar collapse. In tandem both venues rose. QED It reminds me of the old joke whereby the old bugger who hated his wife decided he was going to screw her to death. On it went relentlessly for months. He proceeded to lose 70 lbs. but his wife had gained 20 lbs. and she was glowing and blossoming. He ran into a buddy who he had confided in originally about his plan and the chap said "how's the project going? You don't look so good and your wife looks radiant". He replied " Yah, but little does she know shes only got a couple of weeks to live". Sometimes the facts are the facts. Cheers C
