Re: "You're asking me?"

Why not? 'Hoo-hah' is all well and good... but without an effective STRATEGY it comes to naught.

"Do I look like some military strategist? I'll leave it up to the experts...."

Ah... but the question then becomes *WHICH* 'experts'?????

(A perhaps especially important question considering just HOW MANY professionals have had their advice ignored or over-ridden by the pols and NON-professionals....)

------------------------------------------------------

My position: strategic long-term victory is possible, even likely. We hold the WINNING CARDS in our hands. Only unparalleled incompetence or idiocy could allow us to lose. Our opponents are over-matched at nearly every point.

But --- the way current brain-dead, stuck-in-the-mud strategy is playing out --- strategic victory is becoming more and more difficult, more and more distant, and increasingly less likely.
