As for the molten steel, Steven Jones has put together a great slide presentation. One photo in it is one that I hadn't seen before. It clearly shows pools and rivulets of molten metal scattered about the surfaces of the rubble very early after collapse.
A LOT more info on the thermate hypothesis as well. From the evidence shown in the presentation, it's about as conclusive as you could get.

PDF file...well worth the headache some people seem to have with these.

Another red herring.
Steel will melt at much lower temperatures in the presence of carbon monoxide.

You are inferring the temperatures of a blast furnace are the only possibility. The much lower temperatures of a "bloomery" can easily account for deformed and smelted metals in the debris pile.
