Well let me tell you I have never belonged to any party in this country. I only worked once on a campaign.......the one for the councilman for whom I worked.......I had too. I have never contributed my money to any candidate or to any party.

I haven't done any of those things either. Those facts don't mean much. Esp. in your case considering - "For the first time in my life, that will change. I have given money to five Democratic candidates and plan to give to two more. I will be working Dem. phones during the month of October. I will be voting a straight Democratic ticket for the first time in my life."

Its not benefiting the people who need it most and its job creation is centered on low paying jobs.

IF that was the case the rich or near rich really wouldn't be getting richer to the extent that they are. The very rich might be as they aren't dependent on jobs. The personal income, and personal disposable income stats don't include capital gains, and they don't include money from borrowing. They aren't going up because people are taking out home equity loans, or making profits when they sell stocks.

It should be the goal of every decent, honest American to wrest control of Congress from the GOP grip. Is that political enough for you?

Thank you for making my point.
