Face it. Both GM and Ford are toast.

Neither firm could built competitive vehicles, even if their assembly labor was free.

All they need to do is fire their management and employees, give them technology from their more competent rivals and send the firms through bankruptcy.

The bottom line is that Ford and GM have negative value. It would be less expensive to start over with a new company from scratch. Both firms have defective corporate cultures which have driven them into the current desperate straits.
