The point is...first these guys said the floors failed. We all saw the cartoon on PBS Nova show, showing the floors falling away. And the columns failed by bowing outward.

Now the same team of engineers says the floors did not fail...they bowed downward, stayed attached to the columns and the columns failed inward.

The same guys looking at the same problem come up with two diametrically opposing theories. For this they get $20 million dollars.

Where do they mention the molten steel? How did the molten steel stay hot for 6 weeks?

NIST stops their analysis at the impending failure. They don't look at the collapse.

But that said the same engineers were involved in the FEMA early reports of pancake...and then the NIST report where the floors stay in tact.

According to Kevin Ryan only one of the 9 models done by NIST shows that the columns bowed inward.

I don't think that the engineers doing the NIST study are competent.
