I looked at it in April and made a mental note to follow up near the end of 2006. Are they still aiming to start production next May?

Personally, I think ADA, which is in a similar situation -- working towards starting up old zinc mine in the Maritimes -- is a more compelling buy due to its gold assets, but you are welcome to try to convince me otherwise.

Actually I followed it quite awhile ago and really liked the story and still have the company on radar. I know it was a pick of Randy Oliver at Hesperian and he usually does a lot of research before buying into any company but the financing they did in May was a huge dilution at .30c.

They have put together an excellent team and for a lt hold you would probably see good upside but its got too many shares out now for my kind of investing, but thats just me. At least all options to management are for .39c now but there are at least 15m of those after the PR this morning. Drilling is starting and they have funds backing them. Except for o/s I have nothing against them at all.

About BNT!!
It is an interesting developpement to bring back the Cariboo mine to life...but to do so,...the way... I understand it, they will pay in the order of 60M$ by issuing 200,000,000 shares. So, after what you've just red on dilution, one must be carefull..about the right share price the profits would justified.
I did some calculations when the price was in or around 0.40¢ and I decided to pass...Actually with the risks on the metal prices...the technical feasibility to recover the metals...the Liberals in New-Brunswick...and above all the economics of the rehabilitation...one would need a good financial analysis before investing, for it is an investment(...with some risk) at this stage.
On this board in general, I thing people go for speculative exploration stocks. Good luck and if you find an analysis let us know...
