Ralph, you don't have a clue about what you are talking about when it comes to anything economic ... and you won't live long enough to see anything remotely resembling your prophesies come true ... but since I know you don't understand this, I'll save the bandwidth in the future.

If the US economy craps out, so will many others. In times of crisis, the US will be a safe-haven for many. Gold at 450, the USD at .92 and other resource based econ's will be running for cover. I wish I had a dollar for every US collapse prediction I have read here on SI. If so, I'd be on the beach earning 20%.. Sure, the US is not perfect, but trust me when I say, whatever comes to the US is coming to CAN too. I'd rather make the pie bigger than fight to cut it into smaller pieces. JHVHO, ZM
