We are seeing amazing ups/downs, which have a lot to do with hedgies moving around, trading the trend, and we are also seeing fallout from the previously mentioned collapse of Amaranth Advisors, and I get the feeling the ppt is active just in case of a major melt.
I just don't understand why they just stood and took an almost $5 billion loss on natgas futures.
They should have heeded this melt last month>

Who will it be next, and why?

Of note, Chicago based Citadel may take over whatever is left of the assets of Amaranth.

Anyway, one of the hedge shops I am tied in with is going to the Ryder Cup, and they have a seat for me.
My guys are laughing to the bank.

I expect I will come back with many good Amaranth quips.
