I appreciate your attempt to clear that up for us. I am sorry that Laz took offense and I hope this helps. Just out of curiosity, how do you come to the judgement that he doesn't want to hear, and is a waste of time? IOW, what is the difference between someone who is analysing by such inquiry and one who doesn't want to hear. It would seem that you know his unstated intention without his having revealed it. Is that possible? Are you therefore a mystic, or are there more overt clues you go by?

I'm convinced ALL the so-called holy books (Bible, Koran & the Jewish book) were written solely by human beings--no devine inspiration whatsoever. Clerical Tyrants in ALL religions discovered the written word was a more effective way to shackle the masses with mind control, rather than expensive and messy physical force. That's why there are so many controversial passages in ALL the so-called holy books....they were written over many centuries by numerous authors.
