Bush's favorite trick is to scare us, usually with false information. For instance, his list of counter-terrorist accomplishments the other day was filled with misrepresentations. He took credit for things other countries did, and falsely claimed that torture wad been helpful in getting key intel, when in most cases it was not. He also neglected to say that much of his phony WMD "intel" was gotten through torture, and was totally unreliable. Indeed, we have a lot more to fear from corrupt incompetent politicians in this country than bozos in Pakistan, though they can be very dangerous too.
