But the main thing it showed was strategic indecisiveness from Israel's national leadership. Oh really? The fact of the matter is that the war had been planned meticulously years in advance and the Israelis were just waiting for a "provocation" to set it off. BTW, Israeli powerpoint presentations on the war scenario convinced the Israeli leadership (that had no prior military experience) and others that the war would succeed like success. And so Olmert and his henchmen embarked on the war with no hesitation whatsoever! 'Tis odd that you would now rationalize their "defeat" as a consequence of the indecisiveness of the Israeli leadership. .
