I agree, but I think the exclusivity is the key. If, for some reason, Oprah were off TV and went to a 5 day a week talk format on radio, she would be a hit.

Those who love Oprah aren't going to buy a subscription for a 1/2 hour live show.

Music is pretty much commodity item. You can even get service from cable tv and satellite. Plus the IPOD's are pervasive.

Oprah is good entertainment on TV---have a little problem thinking of her making the transition to radio-----a large part of her appeal is the visual on her show.
