It certainly would.

I think it would be very educational for the American people. We would all learn about the religion of Islam. How its leaders would rule the world so to speak. There would have to be a question and answer period of course, with the people in the audience given the right to participate just like in the Presidential debates. I don't know who else would participate in this other than the two afore mentioned individuals, and I am not sure who would moderate?

Americans in particular would learn what is expected of them under Sharia (which I believe each of them......Al-Sadr, and Ahmadinejad.......believe is the rule of law?) They would learn what sacrifices would be required, and what kind of world they would be expected to embrace. They would learn of the consequences if they reject that world and then could make educated choices.

edit.. I think it would be really very necessary because I think most Americans are very naive regarding Islam and how it affects world events, and them in particular.
