Your link doesn't say that it was the Kennedy administration who "catechized that they were simply going to carry out a mere formality by parading down Quinta Avenida in Miramar under a torrential downpour of confetti and flowers thrown to them as victors."

It was more likely Eisenhower or the Mafia who created the plan and trained the troops. Kennedy was barely in office at the time.

So you finally admit Bush defeated the US in Iraq before we even invaded with his pisspoor lack of planning and dishonest claims and assumptions. Good. You're starting to learn.

Now how about admitting that Bush's debacle in Iraq has killed any chance we have of defeating terrorism for years to come, when after 9-11, we had 99% of the world's goodwill like wind at our backs and could have carried on an honorable righteous fight and defeated the bastards. But now, because of Bush-Cheney, we are almost as scorned around the world as Al Qaida. That is Bush's doing. The big flip-flop. From hero to zero. Which means that all Bush-Cheney's posturing pretending to be our great defenders is total BS. They have actually been derelict to the highest degree and deserve to be forcibly replaced.
