My kid starts learning the violin today. Other son's in the middle school band playing the trumpet. For me playing in the band was pure fun.

A while back I read a news article about a medical researcher who discovered that if he put a treadmill in his office and put his work station where he could use it while walking, and set the treadmill at an easy walking pace (1 mph), he could walk throughout the entire workday, without getting tired.

He put a second treadmill in his office for visitors to use while they meet with him.

I have a treadmill but the slowest it will go is 3 mph. But the limiting factor used to be the CRT, and now that I have an LCD monitor there's no excuse, I must build a treadmill workstation (or buy one)!
