How did they know where the impact zone was going to be?

I thought these pilots were poorly trained so how could they hit a specific floor?

Yeah, it makes sense, all except the "they blew the core" part. That requires a huge leap from what probably happened to what would be almost impossible to execute. That alone makes it very difficult to say it "makes sense".
