It can't be easy to raise an adopted child and then be rejected in favor of the parents who gave the child up.

The adoptees often have a fantasy about rich wonderful permissive parents, most of the adoptees that I know have been completely underwhelmed after meeting their birth parents. One girl found a birth mother who spent much of her life in a sanatorium. She found 14 brothers and sisters most of whom had mental problems. She had her tubes tied after she met her birth mother. She seems happier with her adopted family, and life for us, we're cousins is surely more peaceful.
