re: Chavez says Bush is the devil. Ahmedinejad blame Bush and Israel for the world's troubles.

They sound more like you and the other leftists on this thread than the "religious right" that you and Al continue to despise

Well maybe "more". But it's a pretty big miss on both sides. Maybe like 900 miles on one side and 1000 miles on the other.

When did I ever say I "despised" the religious right. Oh, that's right, I talking to Ten, the straw man king.

I don't despise them. I think they are stupid and hypocrites, but I don't despise them.

How many people died in Iraq today because the gracious religious right elected Bush? You want Chavez, I'll give you Chavez.

I'll admit to agreeing to SOME of what they say. It's because they empowered by the WRONGNESS of the Bush administration's policies of the last five years. I don't like either of them, but Bush makes their points EASY. When Bush spoke at the UN, no one applauded. Chavez got a LOT of applause. The entire world agrees more with what Chavez was saying that wnat Bush was saying - and that isn't Chavez's fault..

WE:

Invaded a country for bogus reasons that hadn't attacked us

We're kidnapping people from foreign countries and torturing them

We're attempting to dictate other countries nuclear policies while having MASSIVE stockpiles ourselves and developing new warheads

We RUSH jetloads of bombs to Israel when THEY invade another country, while at the same time pretending we're seeking peace

Takes one devil to know another, I guess. You ask me, they're all demonic leaders. I don't believe in the devil, but many things Bush has done are just plain evil. Like stealing elections, for instance. And lying to us to exploit our post-9-11 feelings and take us into a war which never should have been started. And letting his big energy buddies gouge us for hundreds of billions.

That said, Chavez and Iran's president are also major A-holes. However, they didn't even matter until Bushie rightwingers started attacking them. Actually, the Iranian only won the election because of Bush's Axis Of Evil speech. Bush put him in power.

We may sound like Chavez and Ahmadinejad but are no where near as extreme as they and the religious right are. An interesting and telling nuance, huh? ;-)
