California state taxes are MUCH less than OR, which has no sales tax - EXCEPT for Ashland, OR, which charges 5% on take out foods - that could be the start of a bad trend. Some people live in Vancouver WA - no state tax, and do their no-sales-tax shopping in Portland.

How do you treat businesses?? how much is workman comp insurance? Unemployment insurance? How easy is it to fire people?

I know Calif Business people, they are taxed and regulated to death.
