Have no problem with everyone staying in Tibet regardless of race, creed or religion... Have a problem with Tibet not being a tourism mecca... Tibet preferably needs to be a separate country with its own national or "semi autonomous" airline, AND there is no good reason why one should not be able to freely travel between Katmandu (Nepal) and Tibet. China/Nepal are really making way too many travel restrictions between Nepal and Tibet. This is a real problem. Like your personal vacation preference TJ, I do not want to travel with a group or tour bus in Tibet or get some type of special permit. Did you have to do this in France, then why should I be compelled to do this in Tibet...? If China desires to not allow Tibet to be a separate country, then at least it should allow Tibet to be Autonomous Zone which China says Tibet now is. This means China should allow free travel to all tourists in and out of Tibet. China should allow Tibet to be a tourist mecca. I have long wanted to have a 3 week vacation to visit both Katmandu (Nepal) and Lhasa (Tibet). However travel restrictions and bureaucracy, primarily caused by China IMO, do not allow one easy access to Tibet. I certainly have no problem with China giving Tibet the same freedoms as Hong Kong!! I desire cheap flights from US to Lhasa and not staying in state sponsored hotels or even worse Marriotts and Hiltons but rather independently owned/managed hotels that offer good value. And I want this soon, before the TEOTWAWKI!! hopefully, you still agree: "i knew you can see it my way, the simpler way :0)" this is the simpler way, free Tibet of travel restrictions!! Thanks for listening...
