Well, I kind of understand what you are trying to say...but I don't know that a black constituent in the USA would see a christian as a representative of a culture that had held them in slavery....(I could be wrong). Who exactly do you think owned the Slaves in the United States? Christians did. They bought them from Muslims in Africa and brought them to america. Jews weren't important enough to own slaves.Jews weren't even received in Polite Society...... Of course Catholics were not very popular either..... Twas an orangemans world.
