Mathur and Johar formed with Robert Zanotti, a broker with Boston- based Kimball & Cross Investment Management Corp. that handled a securities brokerage account for Entrust. According to the complaint, Mr. Zanotti sent the Entrust principals "kickback checks" on a monthly basis amounting to their share of 90% of K&C's commissions for the Entrust business. Mr. Zanotti is also alleged to have paid expenses and purchased goods for Mr. Mathur, including a Mercedes automobile. K&C was not named as a defendant in the SEC complaint. ...
