Rich Lots of kids fantasize about having a wonderful family that are not the knuckleheads they are living with. I did, and I laughed when my Mom told me she did. Lots of times your own family are well, all these people who restrict you and order you around and discipline you. But for an adopted kid, the dream has a reality. There really are other people who are your parents, and well they must have had a huge tragedy to have to give away anyone as wonderful as you, how could they do that?????? It must just suck to have to wonder what happened, and why they didn't want you. But there is no moral, shit happens.
