Just listened to Bush and Musharraf on cnbc for a few minutes. It is amazing how many amazing accomplishments are taking place at one time.

-Hamas and Fatah coalition government

-Palestine acknowledging Israel

-Hezbelloh wiped out of S Lebanon

-Iran backing of nuclear enrichment

-New respect for Geneva treaty for military combatants

-Pope arranging a summit for Islamic leaders

-Islamic leaders supporting the summit

-Bush and Musharraf condemning Bin Laden and Taliban

-Armitage taking all the blame for the White House, again

It is so obvious that Bush has done a great job working with the Islamic leaders against the terrorists. I wish he could convey his message better, but he has constantly divided the terrorists from the moderates. After all, most of the violence is the result of Islamic radicals trying to take charge of the ME. The bloodshed has been the result of radicals killing innocent Muslims. We have been there to support the Islamic governments maintain peace and order.

We have every right to be help our allies combat the terrorists - Taliban, Al Quaeda, Muslim Brotherhood, or whoever is left over. We support Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and every country, with the exception of Iran and Syria. Seems like the recent visit by Iran's former President is demonstrating a more reasonable voice from Iran's current leadership.

If these movement in peace moves forward, especially in Israel and Palestine, the only problem will be the lingering violence in Islamic law. I trust the Pope will deal with this issue, since the faith and reason depends upon the obedience of Muslims not to attack Christians or Jews who do not share the same view of God. Maybe he can initiate some reformation in Islam to declare tolerance for all Christians and Jews that share faith in God.
