Long term is one to infinity years for me.

If an objective is met and the stock no longer looks good as an investment to return more than inflation plus money market rates, then I'd sell and look for one that does.

I've shown over and over, recently with my newsletter purchase over 5 buys between $1.99 and $1.01 of FNSR (currently $3.33), to buy a stock going down over an intermediate time frame (months to a couple of years) inorder to get cheap shares for the eventual day the company is much higher.

ALTR was another but it has less volatility but I still made 3 buys:

150 @ $20.69
200 @ $17.50
300 @ $16.00

I took some profits in those $16.00 shares at $19.33 so I have funds to repurchase if this correction goes low enough...

So, long term, my goal is to accumulate shares and drive my "break-even point" to zero then into "ATM mode" while short term I'll trade the ups and downs.

The negativity towards this sector is very thick and has been for a few years.

Why should you see things any differently?
